This small miscellany is a place for articles and other items of
interest to the Traditional pagan or witch. If you have an
article that you believe fits the spirit and subject-themes of
this website very well, we'd love to see it and perhaps add it here,
for the wisdom and enjoyment of all.

The Old Ways are vital and alive- if they seem lost or quiet, it is
only because they took refuge in a deeper yet more intimate place
within mankind. But they have thrived in that refuge, informing human
dreams and longings and creative endeavors for centuries, just
as they did before they were forced "further down".

Today, we come back the Old Ways mostly in quiet moments or
in dreams, in feelings of "rightness" when we are out on the Land or
in the grip of an intense sharing with the deep, or the unseen
world- and there are many natural ways to accomplish this. True
spirituality is never difficult; it is normal and natural, and there
are as many expressions of it as there are people. Follow your heart
and don't listen to those who preach self-doubt.

As a very wise man once said- "We are never alone. What dreams
through us is always there to support us." What dreams through us is
not apart from the curious mystery we call "ourselves"- so
Trust yourself and it.

Wisdom in day and in dark to you, and thank you for visiting
This site.

Between the windy, swirling fire
And all the stillness of the moon,
Sweet witch, you danced at my desire,
Turning some weird and lovely rune
To paces like the swirling fire.

"There are horns above the table, and horns above the door!
Three horseshoes in their place, and hard planks for the floor!
The hearth is dark, and wind the voice,
In the house of the family of the old faith!”

-The Witch House Invocation
