"I come hither, west of the bridge to hell,
A holy stone, a holy tree, a holy well,
Where the good folk dwell: north of hedges and comforting bells,
I come hither, from the world I leave behind.
In the name of the Devil and his Dame I come,
Bearing the wand that is a flying steed.
In my left hand I bear it, and a mark.
As a tree I ride, as a dead man I ride,
I take the witch road into far deep lands
Where the pale people hie..."

"The Witching Way of the Hollow Hill" is truly a complete guide to the Way of the Witch, with the entire emphasis being on the achievement of "spectral intercourse" with the Unseen World- the merging of the mindstream of the Witch with the hidden world beyond. It is a true Book of Art- a poetic and historical description of the greatest "magical working" of all- a path to putting the mind, body, and soul into a "harmonic" relationship with the world itself, the features of the Land, and unseen potencies, all to bring about a "contact" with the Powers of the Old Ways. It contains fully detailed sections and treatments on the Esoteric symbols and hidden meanings encoded in Folk Balladry and Folk-tales, Four detailed "Master Keys to the Craft", and extensive essays on the Art of Inducing Trance and "Transvection" or Soul-flight.

The first part of the book describes in detail the Worldview of the Witching Way; it ends with a complete system of "power working"- a complete grimoire of chants, incantations, and charms that bring about the subtle experience of the Unseen. Many of these incantations and ritual themes come from contacts from England and Wales- never before seen in print, and given to me with the permission to share them. I have encountered the power of these operations myself, and can assure my readers of their power- for the soul that understands the real meaning of myth, poetry, or the power of dreaming, these workings are transformative on a very deep level.

HIE HITHER AND NOTICE OUR ART: Eight Plates from the Book

Seth Harris, my good friend, and visionary artist, has created powerful images for our book. I give eight samples of plates from the book here- the first of the eight shows a scion of the hidden faith moving through a nighttime forest, carrying a lantern- and the second shows the "Three Spinners" or the Three Ancestral Mothers of the Underworld, next to a well that gives passage below. The next four images, which you can see by clicking on the thumbnails below, are of the Master Spirits who reign over the Current of the True Old Ways. The image of the woman with the lantern is used on one cover of the book- we have designed three different versions of the Book, each with the same text inside, but with a different color and image on the cover. The Black Book has the woman with the lantern, the Greek Book has the horned man halfway in the Land, who can be seen below, and the Red Book has the circle and triangle of twigs, with a goat's skull and a candle between it's horns- another image available below.

The NEW Edition also has a new cover option- rich dark purple, with the majestic image of the Queen of Elfhame's face on the cover.
