HELSONGS is an informative manual of the Sorcery of the Northlands. Presenting the inner worldview of the Rune-Sorcerer and the Seid-folk, it is a guide to directly experiencing the hidden powers embodied in the Runes, the great Mysteries of the Northern people. It is also a manual for the reconstruction and practice of Seid, the mysterious sorcery of the Vanic powers, an earlier form of trance-based mystical practice that was found in the dark forests and mountains of northern Europe.

HELSONGS is a two-part manual of Heathen Sorcery, detailing a modern Sorcerer's path of Rune-Sorcery and Mysticism first, and Seid-working second. It contains detailed writings on inner Rune Cosmology, the three "primary" Runes of the Rune-sorcerers, complete instructions on meditations, chanting, Ond manipulation, creating Galdors and Workings to manipulate the Rune Powers into bringing about transformations in the web of Wyrd, and even creating talismans and consecrating or protecting physical locations with unseen forces.

HELSONGS also contains detailed descriptions of the great Heathen Gods and Goddesses who rule

over each day of the week, and daily exercises, prayers and devotions to bring the Runic and Godly forces of those days consciously into your own mind and body, recovering the connection that ancient peoples once had with them. Many topics, including ancient and modern views of the chief Gods and Goddesses of the North, and the belief in the soul and the destiny of the soul within the web of Wyrd are brought to light in this informative work.

A historical introduction to Seid, as well as a modern reconstruction of its practice, drawn from a decade of the work and experiences of a modern day Seidman. It includes the process of finding and creating the Taufr Bag and the Hide Fading Trance, the creation and use of Seidlaeti or Sorcerer's Songs, communication with Spirits, the manipulation of Life-Force and the Body-Hearth, Knowing Orlog, Soothsaying, Skin-Turning or Shape-shifting, and Hel-Faring, is all covered. This book also goes into the dreaded secrets of Trullskapir or Troll Magic, the sorcery of gaining allies among nature spirts and powers and enlisting them to do the bidding of the Sorcerer.
