Come to me, Fetch-Maiden, Honored Idis, Protectress of my Holy Kin,
Come to me and whisper guidance into my ear; guide me to honor and luck.
Come to me wielding your sword, spear, and shield, to protect me and those I love.
Come to me and tell me of the All-Father's Will.
Let my Luck-Force be strong; let me know the presence of the Gods;
Let no ill-powers or deadly wights strike at my mind or body.
See that I may drink from the Holy Well of Urd,
And in death or dark dream, let your light shine on me, that I may keep my wits.
In the end, carry me to the light of deathless Truth, and to the Holy Steads of the Gods.
