"The gravitational field of the Stone breaks life into its parts, into revelation."

What you have just read are details from a spiritual communion experienced by myself and another person, who wishes for personal reasons, to remain anonymous. This occurred off and on between September of 2004 and up until quite recently.
When I talk about the experience of "spiritual communion", I am talking about a highly personal, (called by some "subjective") experience of an inner reality tied to a place in the Land. From the insights and inspirations gained from deep communion with the spirit of an ancient woman, my partner and I were able to make a relatively complete series of guide-like teachings by which to base a reconstruction of British Neolithic Shamanism.
The question will arise about whether or not any of this is "real" or not. Of course, "real" is a very volatile word, quite subjective itself; it is a loaded word, as centuries of philosophical debate has taught us. When people ask "is this real", however, I doubt they are trying to draw comparisons with the philosophy of Parmenides; what they are saying is "did you just make this up?"
The answer to that question is "no". This is not just "made up". Regardless of whatever else you may choose to believe about this material, it isn't "just made up"- it was inspired by powerful subjective experiences. That is all that can be said about it.
The reason why I took the time to get my notes and write all this out in a usable format is because I think all students of Traditional Witchcraft and Historical Paganisms from the British Isles may gain some use out of it. Those people whose studies of Druidism and other Traditional Paganisms from Northwestern Europe have led them to the "deepest" or most primal layer, the shamanic layer, can also use it for inspiration and perhaps guidance in constructing their own personal shamanic-type practice.
Because the simple fact of the matter here is this: the technique for trance work given in this material works. The understandings presented herein "work" as a philosophy, and resonate with something deep within me, and with others who have read this material. I do not know if this is "inspired recovery" or radical fantasy; those disposed to being unkind to me will hurry to say the latter; the skeptical by nature will join them, and those of a more thoughtful nature may well pause and wonder at the former.
Calls for "evidence" supporting these ideas would be useless; I can no more "prove" these things than you can "prove" that you had a dream about a man in a blue hat last night. If you can get some practical use from this animistic "way of seeing" the world, then all the better; "the proof of the pudding", as a favorite author of mine once told me, "is in the eating".
Now, I shall turn to the information given to us by "Mera". I will place numbers after certain sentences indicating that a note exists after the main body of this work, giving my personal ideas or background on that item in question. Mera's words were short and cryptic; the explanatory paragraphs given are my best attempts to make sense of her meaning.
I strongly suggest that anyone interested in the Prehistory of the second and third millenniums in Britain purchase and read the book "The Age of Stonehenge" by Colin Burgess, for the most up-to-date and thorough treatment of the archaeological realities of some of our most distant ancestors who lived in the Holy Isles.
